In the beginning, being a craftsy girl, I preferred forts over doll house, horses over bikes and pictures over large boxes of grey text. This means as a child, I had the duty of protecting our fortress on the Spice Road from evil Sultans (my two older brothers), spent lazy afternoons with animals in the wide open country side and created my own stories to the images in front of me. When I grew up, I had to be a photographer.
