Partnering up for Coca Cola Cinemagraphs
We were approached by Mesh Media to partner with Pacific Digital Image to create a pair of Cinamagraphs™. The goal of the cinemagraphs was to sit quietly and have an intriguing element of surprise that catches the viewer off guard. Keep your eye out for the subtle drips and fluttering curtains.

First day in India, head straight to Dhobi Ghat thinking I’m stepping off the beaten path for innovative and new photography. Duh. My motivation [...]

I just recently returned from Myanmar. What a magical place! Myanmar is a country that has over 4 million temples and the people are sweet, kind and beautiful. The country boasts a literacy rate of 89.7% and is vastly rich in natural resources such as: pink diamonds among other precious stones, copper, rice and various [...]
Ice Cream, You Scream! We All Scream with Heidi Gintner
Recently, Heidi Gintner and I wanted to get to the bottom of what cold really means. Let’s try Minus 10 Degrees. My Canadian parents would say: “Don’t freeze your bippy!” My bippy was alright, it was Heidi’s that was doing all the freezing. We played with all things ice cream just to do it. Cheap ice [...]

Sunset recently did an article all about the latest red-wine craze with a focus on Malbec grapes from Washington Winemakers. They say that young reds taste best when decanted because it gives them a chance to air out a bit. Enjoy!

Everything but the Bird in 7×7 Magazine
I love it when an editorial pub thinks outside the protein. 7×7 Magazine focuses on top chefs for Thanksgiving, and it’s all about tasty side dishes in Everything but the Bird. Don’t get me wrong, I happily wallow in a tryptophan induced coma every year. For this story, I got to focus on making beautiful images of [...]

Iceland: Cool New Boyfriend Story #29
When we first started dating, in conversation he mentioned that he had a trip to Iceland coming up. Hmm. Who goes to Iceland? Interesting.
I suppose things were going well as I was invited to go and meet the family on their ‘Big-Christmas-Holiday-In-July’. Upon telling my friends that I was going to go to Iceland to [...]
Fish Market (Fiskmarkadurinn), Reykjavik
Anthony Bourdain totally freaked me out. Damn you Tony. In his review of the food from Iceland: You. Did. Not. Represent. Really funny, but kinda shameful. Maybe because it was winter and it dampened your sunny disposition? I found the food in Iceland to be quite amazing. Iceland offers spectacular seafood, lamb and dairy. They [...]
Starbucks, Paris
During our recent Paris trip, how fabulous and totally impressing my new boyfriend, I learned that I had been awarded to shoot the ‘Fall Promo’ for my favorite standby, Starbucks. Not only do I drink gallons of Starbucks coffee daily, I am a huge fan of the company.
My agent texted me the news and I [...]
